Glad you liked Graffiato! I think it's a perfect date spot, laid back with a great energy inside, and the food is on point. Sounds like you'll be bringing back the girl back there for another date... go get it!

OK honest review this time. After Om Noms recommendation for a good "first date" place I chose Graffiato because of this review. The vibe of this restaurant was great. Fun, energetic, loud but not over the top loud. The tables are spaced accordingly so you're not up in anyone else’s business which is a must for a first date. The food was spot on:

- Brussel sprouts with egg and bacon were perfectly cooked and the egg was an odd but very complimentary addition.
- Pork fried ravioli with apple butter. I can honestly say this was the best ravioli I have ever had in my life and will go back to this place to try it again.
- Pumpkin Risotto. This was just OK. The risotto was cooked perfectly but the flavors were a little bland.
- Winter Squash Angnolatti was as savory and smooth as it could be.

Aside for the great meal the service was spot on and Mike Isabella was outside the kitchen making sure everything ran smoothly. I will definitely be going back to this place for round two.

After reading your blog I went on a fist date to Graffiato. Your review was spot on and everything went smashingly. I'm now married with 4 kids, a dog and a cat. You rock OM NOM!

I'm honestly not quite sure. It'd be an interesting experiment. The sauce is crucial, and I'm guessing that the meat will be tender and tear easily after the proteins break down from being cooked for so many hours. Give it a shot!

This looks so delicious! I have a large london broil from Valentine's in my freezer right now. Do you think I could use that in place of the brisket?
